What Is Peckerhead Racing

Well I have been asked several times, "What is PeckerHead Racing?". Well I started PeckerHead Racing to give support to racecar drivers. It started out as just a few friends in Nebraska and Texas running my decals and then other people see the decal and get a chuckle out it and want one on their car. So I started this web site so people can fallow along during the season to see how the guys are doing that run the decal. Then I started adding news and results to my web site. Things continue to grow with the whole PeckerHead Racing deal.

Now you are probably asking why call it PeckerHead Racing.

Well I was talking on racing forums and I was using the redheaded bird head as my avatar/icon. Well a very good friend of mine from Des Moines, Iowa started calling me Peckerhead  because of the bird. Then one day I thought I would start this deal called PeckerHead Racing. So I have to give alot of credit for the whole thing to my good friend. Thank You Verna

About Myself

Well I have grown up in Central Nebraska pretty much my whole life. I did move away for about a year and half as I attended college in Northwestern Kansas earning a degree in auto technology.

Well I have always been into cars. My first love was classic cars and I still enjoy them. Then I had this neighbor that would demo derby, well he got out of that and built a street stock. Well on Sundays I would go over to his house and watch the tape the his wife filmed the night before at the races and just fell in love with racing. Then I started to watch the NASCAR races on TV. Of course I started to cheer for the Black #3 because it was black and black cars were cool. I kept begging my parents to take me to the races but they really weren't into the racing thing. Their big thing is Husker Football. I got my first set of wheels, of course its a classic car, and headed out to the dirt track. Now I am out at dirt track pretty every weekend during the racing season.

I have pit crewed for several buddies and have even taken a few laps in some go-karts and a class known as the classic modifieds.

Well now that I have you all bored with my life story I will let you go. Have a great day and stay safe.
